The Wayland-based Lynch Landscape & Tree Service will partner with the Massachusetts Tree Wardens Association, local community groups and hundreds of state certified arborists for the Massachusetts Arborists Association's (MAA) Arbor Day of Service.
Projects include ornamental pruning, tree planting, large tree pruning and tree removal at sites such as town parks, schools and playgrounds across the state.
"Our company, with several certified Massachusetts arborists on staff, will be removing a hazardous oak tree from the Linwood Cemetery for the town of Weston," Michael Lynch said. "We also have plans to help the town of Wayland and Sudbury with projects as well.
"This will be a great way for us to give back to the communities in which we serve and help them with tree work after being inundated last year with two significant storms."
Bill O'Neil, director of parks and cemeteries in Weston, agreed, "We are very fortunate to have Lynch Landscape & Tree Service help with the storm cleanup. We are grateful for the assistance with improving the safety and beautification of Linwood Cemetery."
