This active family wanted their underused backyard to become more than just open space—they envisioned a private retreat that could keep pace with their love of golf, basketball, tennis, and pickleball. The result is a dynamic, resort-style landscape designed to bring both play and connection into daily life. A custom sport court anchors the design, paired with an intimate viewing patio at the far end—a spot equally suited for cheering on the action or slipping away for a private conversation. Nearby, a professional-grade putting green with its own sand trap and driving range flows seamlessly into the generous outdoor bar and kitchen. Here, post-round refreshments are always just steps away.

The property’s dramatic slope posed the greatest design challenge, but it became the key to unlocking layered experiences. A spacious upper patio, accessed directly from the kitchen, serves as the family’s outdoor dining room, complete with a sleek gas firepit for after-dinner drinks. From this elevated perch, guests enjoy unobstructed views of the entire backyard—turning every meal into front-row seating for the day’s games.

This transformation reimagined a once-unused yard into a versatile destination: a place where recreation, relaxation, and togetherness all thrive.
