Reports To: This position will be report to the Landscape Operations Managers. Job Overview: The Landscape Team Member is responsible for the care and cultivation of the grounds surrounding homes and businesses.
• Performs grounds keeping.
• Mow lawn by hand or using mower.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs and bushes.
• Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
• Rake, mulch and prune grounds as needed.
• Water plants and grasses.
• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, edging around flower beds, walkways or walls.
• Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, snow blowers, chainsaws etc.
• Shovel snow from walkways, driveways, parking lot and spread salt in those areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment:
This job requires outdoor work 95% of the time with exposure to heat and cold.Physical Demands:

The Landscape Team Member is classified as being from medium to heavy work based on the lifting requirements. This job requires frequently lifting either 20 – 30 pounds or even 40 – 60 pounds objects. Occasionally, in any of the job assignments, pushing and pulling up to 50 – 100 pounds is necessary.
This job requires frequent stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, and feeling. The ability to walk distances and maintain stamina and stability is constantly required. The ability to have hand/eye and hand/foot coordination is constantly required. Landscape Team Members are involved in climbing and balancing in their work. They are required to at times work from ladders and must work in fluctuating temperatures and adverse weather conditions (e.g. 90 degree heat, high wind, rain). Up to 95% of the Team Members time is spent in outdoor work.
All Landscape Team Members are exposed to the expected hazards and atmospheric conditions of an industrial environment (i.e., fumes, odors, mists, gases, toxic chemicals, electrical and mechanical instrumentation equipment, and high noise levels) may be encountered.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a seasonal full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 6:45am-5pm, with overtime required during the Spring and Fall. Saturday and Sunday work may be required in Spring and Fall months.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• High School diploma
• Two years of Landscape experience
• Ability to operate machinery
