Soil Treatments
Systemic control of certain insects such as aphids, adelgids, and scale insects. The product is taken up through the root system and translocated through the xylem. Most treatments control the insect for one to two years.
Bark Treatments
Systemic control of certain scale insects. The product is applied through a bark spray translocating through the xylem controlling the insect for one year.
Ornamental Tree Injections
Root flare injections to control certain insects, diseases, and some bacterial blights. Such as aphids, caterpillars, scale, flat and round-headed borers, apple scab, anthracnose, and most leaf fungus. The product is placed directly into the tree's xylem and is translocated throughout the tree, reducing any residual in the soil. Some products give one or two-year controls.
Large Tree Trunk Injections
Root flare injections to control certain insects and diseases of large trees such as emerald ash borers, Dutch elm disease, anthracnose, nutrients, and many other pests. These could be specimen trees such as elm, maple, ash, or oak trees. Some products give one or two-year controls.
IPM Programs
IPM Programs are available at the customer's request. IPM Programs consist of a thorough evaluation of all your ornamental trees and shrubs. We will provide a plan after a careful diagnosis of your ornamental trees and shrubs is complete.Soil Alleviation and Amendments
The soil around your trees becomes compacted over the years preventing water, nutrients, and oxygen from getting to them. Trees can also face mechanical resistance that physically limits root movement. We use compressed air to excavate and loosen all the soil from around the root zone. We then reintroduce a rich organic fertile soil with biochar additives back into the root zone. While increasing soil porosity and soil fertility, this process allows the tree's roots to grow abundantly, increase oxygen intake, and improve nutrient and water uptake. This process makes for healthier, more vigorous, and larger bloom trees.
