    Does it have three leaves?

    If the plant in question has three leaves you may have poison ivy on your property and you can move on to the next question. If you don't see three leaves you do not have poison ivy.

    Does it have thorns?

    If you see thorns on the stem you likely have wild raspberry or blackberry and not poison ivy. If the stem is smooth you can move on to the next question.

    Do you see berries?

    If you see green or off-white berries you likely have poison ivy.

    Is it in a high-traffic area?

    If you see poison ivy in an out-of-the-way location there may be no need to treat it at all. But if you're concerned people could come into contact with it don't hesitate to call us to schedule a poison ivy control visit.
